EXCITING CHANGES AHEAD! For the past 14+ years, we have operated our bakery from its original location under the ownership of its founders, Matt and Jason. As this first chapter comes to a close this weekend, we are grateful for all the love and support from our community, family, and friends over the years. Being one of the earliest cupcake bakeries to open in Richmond was a daunting task, but we were immediately overwhelmed by the positive response we received. Thank you for including us in your birthdays, anniversaries, baby showers, weddings, bad-day-pick-me-ups, and every other one of life’s sweet moments. The memories we have from getting to know you as regulars, our time on Cupcake Wars, and working alongside some of the most talented people in the industry are true gifts that we will never forget! Before we turn over the ovens to Mike, Kim, and Cheyenne, please come visit us one or two more times this weekend! This Sunday, July 23 will mark our final day of operation in our current location. After a short break to allow us to move to our new spot in Short Pump, we’ll be back up and running and ready for the next chapter of Frostings to unfold where we will continue our legacy as the longest-running gourmet cupcake shop in Richmond.
